Join our MEDA Team
At MEDA, we find meaning and fulfillment in investing in people’s lives. We work collaboratively to close the opportunity gap for low- to moderate-income Latino families in San Francisco’s Mission District by providing them access to affordable housing, career and small-business development, education and more. As MEDA continues to strengthen this community, we need more talented professionals dedicated to inspiring positive change – and driven to succeed in a fast-paced team environment. Be one of us!
Since 2015, MEDA’s ¡Viva! program has provided training and technical assistance to support other organizations across the country to implement MEDA’s strategies in their communities. MEDA couples its comprehensive curriculum packages, grounded in Human Centered Design; with expert staff for one-on-one organizational engagements, national network consulting, and best practice exchange convenings. MEDA is both funded for and funds this work, passing through funds to organizations committed to wealth, place, and power building in low-income, immigrant, and communities of color.
MEDA’s product offerings include integrated Asset Building programs, Small Sites real estate development, Data & Evaluation; with others forthcoming. The ¡Viva! online platform will launch in 2020 to enhance this work and support working in coalition across the ¡Viva! network. MEDA is the leader in Small Sites acquisition and development in San Francisco, and trainer for national networks such as UnidosUS and the National Association of Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB).
